HELL YEAH: NEGOTIATE YOUR WAY TO NO (WITHOUT FEELING LIKE A JERK)

KARA SNYDER

Saturday, October 28, 2017

10:30 AM -12:00 PM

Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, 1 N Front Street, Hudson NY

When we’re out transacting business or living life, there are situations that make us want to sing HELL YEAH or say no. Yet, it can be challenging for many folks to use that two-letter word.

Even when we’re totally clear on what is truly a big no for us internally, there’s an art to communicating that no effectively to others – without feeling like a jerk or back-pedaling. This is something our speaker Kara Snyder has witnessed in more than 8 years of private health + lifestyle strategy sessions with frazzled, working women.

Saying no is an essential skill with so many practical applications at work and in our personal lives. The goal of this interactive workshop is to practice more assertively and comfortably say no after learning a few basic principles. We ask that participants bring a scenario where they have found it difficult to say no in the past to play with in a chill, learning environment.

Come sharpen this skill before holiday overwhelm sets in.
